Team Work Makes the Dream Work – The British Boxing Talk Podcast

Blog, Boxing & Kickboxing, Podcast, Writing

On this weeks episode of the British Boxing Talk podcast we’re joined by special guest & BBBofC licenced Pro Trainer – Andre Daltrey.

Andre with Freddie Roach in 2017

As well as being my own boxing & kickboxing coach, Andre has trained several professional fighters over the years and has been pretty successful himself too!

Andre captained the Southern England team as an amateur and also won numerous titles at all levels, including British, European and World level in the realms of Kickboxing.

Andre joins us on the subject of trainers in the World of boxing and he helps us to define what’s important in a coach, the sorts of things a fighter looks for and the kind of things that a trainer needs to do in order to do their job to the best of their ability.

Within our conversation, we discuss who our favourite coaches are at the moment and who we think could potentially be a great trainer in Pro boxing!

Check out our interesting conversation, as well as our thoughts on the weekends fights – from both last weeks and the upcoming shows this weekend.

Jacobs Vs. Derevyanchenko is on Sky Sports this weekend and will also be HBO’s last boxing show after they decided to leave the World of boxing behind!

You can find us on any major podcast platforms, including: Apple podcasts, Spotify, Google Play, Pod Bean and Player FM to name a few!
